Celebrating National Post Week

The National Post week was on, and being involved with understanding postal systems we thought we'd celebrate it. Also it was a great opportunity to do secret research.
We put up a make shift kiosk which worked on human interaction. We provided our users with all the conveniences of sending a letter/postcard/inland letters and the response was great. People either came for nostalgic value or to try out something new. Users were made to interact via the kiosk which had separate outputs/inputs for various functions.
The result was a trip to the post office, feeling like a postman, carrying 46 letters (2 overseas), 80 postcards and 35 inland letters.
You can look at some pictures here.

The transforming brief

Summary of the succession of briefs for The Post Project. Its easy to trace the chain of thought that led to the final direction of action.
Revival cant take place without redefinition of what a medium means to the user. Hence the need for newness.
